Volume 17 of the «Proceedings of the Mordovia State Nature Reserve» includes materials of the All-Russian (with international participation) scientific-practical conference "Nature reserves and national parks in the new millennium", devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Mordovia State Nature Reserve. This volume presents main, finalised research results of various nature components (flora, fauna, landscapes) as the Mordovia State Nature Reserve, as well as other Protected Areas. Participants of the Conference expressed an interest to the problems of organization of environmental education and educational tourism in Protected Areas. All materials are presented in the author's edition.
