Dear guests!
You are going to visit the unique part of the Mordovia Republic nature. We kindly recommend you to read the rules of visiting the reserve!

1. Do not cut the trees and shrubs, even if they seem moribund.
2. Do not pick flowers and herbs. Let them grow and impress not only you, but also those who come after you.

3. Do not make fires outside resting spots built for you.
4. Leave the fishing nets and hunting weapons outside the reserve. Hunting and fishing are strictly prohibited throughout the territory!
5. Do not diverge from the ecological paths arranged for you. Exceptions are emergencies only.
6. Do not litter the reserve. Try to take out all the trash from the path.
7. When meeting the animals do not scare them with loud cries, try to keep quiet. Remember that YOU are guests, and THEY are the hosts here. Treat them with respect.

8. Do not take pets to the reserve. Domestic and wild animals are unlikely to be able to find a common language.
9. Do not damage buildings, trees, notices, warning signs and resting spots, do not put inscriptions on them.
10. Take only photos as a memory of the reserve, but remember that it is necessary to get the permission to photograph at the park authorities.

The entire territory of "Smidovich Mordovia State Nature Reserve” is protected by Federal Law "On Specially Protected Natural Areas". And there are lawful punitive measures for order violation:

Article 8.39 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation "Violation of the rules of protection and use of natural resources in protected areas". 
Article 262 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Violation of protected areas and natural sites"

Please, report any order violations you notice to administration of the reserve!
